Breakwater III - Driftwood and Sea Glass Lamp

Weathered and seaworn, this chunky driftwood beam is set with green and aqua seaglass and tide worn pebbles. This unique piece really comes into its own in low light to create a stunning and unique statement light which captures the energy of the sea and brings a little piece of the beach to your home

Around 250 pieces of of genuine sea glass, collected from beaches on the Isle of Wight, have been individually and lovingly set and backlit to sparkle and glow out of the dark wood, following the fissures and cracks created through years of wave and salt action. The original rusted bolts add another dimension to the lamp and hint at its history of use as a breakwater or part of a jetty in the sailing town of Cowes.

This lamp stands aprroximately 70cm tall, about 35cm wide and 25cm deep. Lit by low energy LED lights it runs on a standard 240V UK socket. The bulbs have an estimated 25,000 hours running time.
